Our sister company, GEMI Trucking, was started in Eatonton, GA almost 25 yrs ago, moving earth with a handful of trucks and eight employees. GEMI’s fleet now features 110 company owned trucks, 180 flatbed trailers, dry and curtainside vans, and the manpower to move your freight.

About ten years ago, GEMI’s customers developed the need for warehousing and distribution services and Ocean Link was established as the logistics provider of the family. Changes in the domestic and international shipping landscape have driven Ocean Link’s growth, as we respond to requests for advanced systems and cost effectiveness.

Our focus continues to be customer service. At Ocean Link, we learned a long time ago that shippers are interested in a lot more than a roof and four walls. Our processes and systems reflect our understanding that to our customers, their freight is not cartons and pallets, it’s dollars and cents. That’s why we are unrivalled in our ability to handle goods safely, keep them secure, keep precise inventories, and get them to destination on schedule.
